Team Biographies

                           Dr.Edward F. Macias, Ed.D. Neuropsychologist

Bio:

Dr. Macias was born and raised in Southern California. He is bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural. Dr. Macias graduated from UC Riverside with a bachelor's degree in psychology. He then obtained an M.S.W. degree from U.C.L.A.

After working in an outpatient mental health clinic in Los Angeles for three years, Dr. Macias attended Harvard University where he obtained a doctoral degree in counseling and consulting psychology. Dr. Macias was also trained as a neuropsychologist, at hospitals and clinics in the Boston area. He has held clinical and teaching positions at Lowell Community Health Center, North Shore Children's Hospital and the Murray Research Center, all in Massachusetts.

Dr. Macias has private practice offices in Salinas, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles where he practices forensic psychology and neuropsychology. Dr. Macias is the Director of Behavioral Science and member of the teaching faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California.

Dr. Macias’ primary area of private practice is forensic and neuropsychology. He has twenty years of experience working at clinics, hospitals and in private practice. He is able to administer full neuropsychological evaluations in English and Spanish.

Dr. Macias has experience as an expert witness in clinical forensic cases.
